Stephanie leads the legal team with respect to end-to-end global supply chain and transportation and logistics law matters. In her role she strategically supports CastleGate Forwarding’s initiatives, assisting the company in navigating the ever-changing regulatory landscape and in developing operational best practices and global customer solutions.
With over a decade of industry experience, Stephanie joined the team after serving in senior in-house counsel roles at multibillion dollar, publicly traded, leading providers of tech-enabled freight brokerage, global forwarding, intermodal, managed transportation, last mile, air charter, expedited and LTL truckload services. Before going in-house, Stephanie was a Partner and Chair of the Maritime Transportation Practice Group in the Chicago office of an Am Law 200 and leading Transportation Law firm. She is a past Chair and current Vice President of the American Bar Association’s Admiralty & Maritime Law Committee and has served as a Member-at-Large on the Transportation Lawyers Association’s Executive Committee. Stephanie has spoken before various industry groups and their membership throughout North America and written numerous published articles regarding maritime law matters, avoiding and litigating cargo claims and mitigating risk when transporting or arranging the transportation of goods.
Outside of the office, Stephanie may be found hiking with her family, horseback riding, reading and playing the piano.
