We are writing to inform you of a major explosion that occurred today on a Yang Ming boxship at the Port of Ningbo Beilun Second Container Terminal in China. Fortunately, there were no injuries to crew or port workers, though nearby buildings were affected.
While no CGF cargo was aboard the affected vessel, we anticipate potential delays for Ningbo shipments in the near future as Beilun Second is a major terminal. We have minimal containers currently at the terminal and will contact you directly if your shipment is impacted with delays.
