Dear Valued Partner,
Earlier today, container vessel Dali, chartered by our ocean partner Maersk, was involved in a collision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge over Patapsco River in Baltimore, resulting in the collapse of the bridge and subsequent disruption to port operations. As a result of this incident, Baltimore’s shipping terminals are now inaccessible, causing several vessels to be stranded.
As our partner is still assessing the situation, please be advised of the following:
- All CGF shipments, including those destined for Baltimore, have been unloaded, as the incident occurred during the ship's departure from its final U.S. port call.
- We are working with our ocean carrier partners to determine the optimal course of action for shipment en route to Baltimore and will inform suppliers with impacted shipments once we receive additional details.
- Until the situation in Baltimore is resolved and normal port operations resume, we will not be accepting any new direct shipments to Baltimore.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as new information becomes available.
